i just registered because my patch switcher doesn't actually switch patches.
im mad because the only working mafia sever is misfit's
can someone help me?

Just download it and follow the directions - extract it, install it, run it, hit 1 for 1.6 and 2 for 1.61, THEN start Battlefield.

Also, make sure you have the 1.61 patch installed before applying the patch-switcher. To check which one you have installed start your game and navigate to the main menu then check the lower left side of your screen. It should read as the image does.



If it reads differently then either you don't have the 1.61 patch installed or your patch is already switched to 1.6.

i will try the your links beetlejuice.  i have 1.61 then i got patch swicher off the fourms

its still not switching to the old patch. can someone give me a different solution?
patch switcher launches, but doesn't actually switch.

Make sure you have a folder in your Battlefield Directory (The default is C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942) that references to the Patch-switcher. This directory will contain the configuration files and registry entries necessary for the Patch-switcher to work after it is initialized.

This directory will be within your Battlefield directory and should be named Patch-switcher and should contain two sub-directories named New and Old.

thanks... but what about changing patch switcher to know that BF1942 is on my E:/ drive
it still thinks bf is on C:/
