ok so my computer pretty much just rolled over and died i dont know what wnet wrong. it used to run fine but one day i think i change the start up programs and thats when the errors and problems started.

1- Internet -ok well my interent just stopped working i have Powerline ethernet bridge and now all of the sudden its not connecting and when it does its real slow.

2- USB Ports -none of my usb reconizes the stuff i plug in like my camera or ipod.

3- No Sound -well i talked to some of you about this and still have no resoulution. my sound doesnt work at all its not my speakers even when i play a song in windows media player it says that theres nothin installed or seomthing of the sort.

4- Theme -i somehow "lost" the windows xp theme i dont know how but all i can use is the windows classic. its not anywhere.



so please please help me im in dire need.

If I were you right now with this problem, I would just reformat the PC. If you don't have anything SUPER important, just format. Save, move, or backup your important files and commence. Check device manager to see if everything is connected properly and up to date. For sound, are you sure you don't have two sound cards conflicting? How do you even lose the Windows XP theme? Man, that sucks. How old is your computer? Clean the inside of your PC, because there might be dust and stuff blocking. I know it won't really solve your problems, but just do it.

since loaded is showing up on the forums more often, maybe you'll get lucky and he'll see this thread and fix it all. Or not.

If you have an old computer, it sounds like its just time for a new one.  If its not that old, then it sounds like you've been hijacked or have a virus.

ROFL. Allright this is kind of odd. Why don't you try restoring your computer to an earlier date. That only takes about 20 min. It should restore your registry files to the date you select but it will leave your documents and program files untouched.

flash the bios, it has happened to me, the internet thing and the sound.......ex act same thing.....abou t the theme and the usb ports, it might be your mobo drivers
