Another dam question

ok heres hopefully my last question...

Computer is running, windows xp is installed, bf1942 and a couple of other games is installed, tryed to run the game it crashes to the desktop.  I tryed to install software for my videocard and it said it couldnt find the hardware.  Im tired of taking this to compusa can anyone help me (balth) :)

For BF2142, make sure you have the latest patch (1.06), because they fixed the crashing to the desktop problem.  As for the software issue, if you can see the desktop, it should be good. Installing the latest drivers for video is not always a good thing, because it sometimes messes things up. Your turn, Balth.

1.10 Beta is out for 2142.

i dont think ive installed any drivers, it cant find the video card, and i have dont  internet connection to it yet.
