Ok, i have a senior speech wednesday 17th i think.  And i really need a good hook does anyone know of something cause im completely blank with this hook in the speech.

And its about computers...

I think thats a good idea, you could talk about how people are choosing to spend more time in a virtual world than the real one and what does this say about society?

Or how some people love their computer as a real person. And treat it as such.

Ah but these people are in their 40s and work all day, i doubt they even know what wow is lol.

Im gonna go with surfers idea, but expande on it.  All i need is 8 minutes of bs to get a 100 on it :D

Good luck on it though, dune surfer's idea is actually a pretty simple one that you could draw out for 10 minutes if you're good at bull-shitting.

Remember to put an apostrophe(') in the contractions.

Wont= Won't
Cant=Can't

For the hook, I also like Dune's idea. You can add on to it by saying how much people rely on computers and technology. Give examples of possible outcomes for the good and bad side of this. Also, how has computers let mankind evolve into our form now? Good?

to make it more simple, avoid using this..."don't" "didn't" "it'll." Those are called contractions, instead say "did not" or "it will."
