Uh, the error is in French, so I don't know how many people will be able to help you.  However, my guess is that your 1.6, 1.61, and patchswitcher files all need to be in the same folder, Prgram Files > EA Games > Battlefield 1942.

I think the first bit means:
"Windows cannot find the file you have specified check it is spelled correctly and try again."
I'm ghessing Patchswitcher can't identify your registry file because its probably in French on your computer

If it can't find the new/new.reg it means you haven't installed the patchswitcher right or the patch. Question for you: Did you install the 1.61b patch before installing this patchswitcher? If not, you should do that ;)
