I think gamespy is getting crashed and when it does the update button on your bf1942 game will lock up and freeze you when you try to access the internet. During this time you should notice that FEAR in the same way will freeze when you click the server list button.
This used to only happen on Sundays for some strange reason then would miraculously recover sometime through the week. I got round this problem at first by using the server tool and going directly to either 1.6 or M1.6 but now when I try all I get is "Failed to connect to server" hmmm. Any Thoughts?

I think battlefield is drunk, its happening to almost everyone. No one can join a mafia server anymore. Reboot the box bone and see if it helps.

Ping is at 9999 ... :{

I was in with around 30 people and EVERYONE disconnected besides me,boe tried to join and his ping was 9999 along with alot of other people so i just capped flags by myself.

Seems to be working now though for the time being.
