What stats for my computer do I need to make it run smoothly?

Well look at the bottom of the BF2142 box and it will say system requirements on it.

* 1024 MB RAM
My computer wouldn't be able to do that, I can only play BF2 on low settings and I have two setting on meduim.

You need at least a 500ghz processor, 100gigs of ram, a 5gb gfx card that can do dx100 and gl 30.0, a sound card that can do 600:1 audio with hd 20.0 and eax 10.1, a 100billion tb hd with sata 1million.

You will be ok with that. :)

I have high speed internet and i still get a connection problem playing bf 2142...After it shows me the warning it kicks me from the server...What's up with that?

Both you rookies are posting in a thread that was made in June.

OUTLAW... Check to make sure you have the right connection setting for your connection in the settings of 2142 and if you do, knock it down to the next lower one... As in, if it is set at 256, try 128 (I don't have the game so I don't know the settings).
