Meh, and in 3 months the new G91 core will come out with the 89** series (they say its twice as fast as the 8800 GTS or GTX, don't remember, but its not a fact yet), and DDR3 will have dropped and will be better clocked, multicore applications will have arrived (hopefully ).
I'm not saying its not a dream pc, I'm just saying its a waist of money, might be a dream pc now, but hardware is develloping so fast nowadays its useless to try and keep up with it.



Ah well, its your money, I would have spent it on something else


But have fun with your system, and nice clock on that C2D, you could have done that too with an 8800GTX so you could keep the 100 euro's from not having to buy the ULTRA version

Now run 3d mark '06 when you're back :p

you don't need a terabite of HD space, XP PRO only recognizes 3 gigs of RAM if i remember correctly, the 8800 ULTRA prices will drop once the new card by NVidia comes out, and i would only get water cooling if i wanted everything in my computer to not work. Think of it, one water leak and those 3000 euros are gone, and you'll be left with a keyboard, monitor, and mouse.

32-bit recognizes 3 gigs
64-bit (which I think is what he is running) recognizes more..

Chris, overclocking your CPU will change its lifetime from like 15 years to 10 orso, and since CP is probebly going to update it again in a couple of months it doesn't really matter

32bit and 64 bit means nothing, only in software streams to the cpu, and most software is 32...

windows xp does not decide how to read your memory, it gets its basic info from the bios, bios says 12g system memory windows says ok. Try it...

any computer that does what you want is a dream machine, having the best of the best is a waste of money since software tracks 5 years behind the hardware...

You all need to know the facts before you start your shit... hardware vendors will make up shit to get the retards to buy it, since they know most people really have no true idea...
