In the early 1900's, Morocco was owned by France.  Wonder why most African dialects have hints of French in them.  Maybe because Vichy France was owned by France in WWII?  So actually, without proof, you're both wrong.

Nope, you're wrong. Just because Morocco was controlled by the french, doesn't mean you're now french. It makes you moroccan. And i wasn't talking about exclusively WWII, look the french had territory in Vietnam also, does it mean if you were born in Vietnam when it was controlled by the french, you are now french? Nope.   It is just like Purto Rico is to the United States.  They are still Purto Rican, not American.  It is a territory and is not actually owned.

If you were in a nation that france had occupied, you werent allowed to be in the french army.  To be in their military you had to be born in france.  But if you had moved there, or just in france and had no money, you could join the french foreign legions.

also the dutch/spanish/english/Portuguese/russians/and what was left of the ottoman empire, all tryed to take new lands in afrika, the americas, and southeast asia.

I dont need to google stuff to know stuff some of you should have learn't in history class.

What about the part you over looked?  The part how Morocco is a commonwealth.  They used the same money as France, same postage, same government.  Morocco was French soil at the time, so if you were born on it, then you're French.
