I have had that same problem before.  The only way I could get rid of it was to whipe my hard drive and reinstall everything.  I had a worm or something.  It is from porn.

if it's a funky virus, there's got to be a cure for it somewhere. I don't think the only solution is wipe your hard drive and call it quits. Consult loaded, he knows all about computers.

LOL

Most likely it's a virus or something like that. Try running a security scan and if that doesnt work, then boot into safe mode and see if the browser works from there.  Also run a scan from safe mode too.

# Begin tapping the F8 key every few seconds as the system boots up until the screen offering the Safe Mode option appears.
# Use the arrow keys to highlight Safe Mode and press the Enter key.
# The system will now boot into Safe Mode.
# On Windows XP, you may receive a prompt asking if you really want to boot into Safe Mode. Choose Yes.
# Once Windows has booted into Safe Mode, open your antivirus program using the Start | Programs menu and run a complete virus scan.

what the hell is your problem man? I wasn't addressing you in that comment, i was talking to Masebot. My comment had NOTHING to do with your previous one. Chill the fuck out.

I was merely telling him to not jump the gun and re-install windows, but rather try doing some scans and see if he can fix it from there. Then advised him to ask loaded because he fixes shit all the time on these forums whenever someone (usually me) posts a computer problem.

Again, i have no idea why you randomly lashed out, but if it's a misunderstandi ng then it's at your end, nothing i wrote was even remotely insulting.

I scanned for viruses and got nothing, I did try a system back up to when i used it. That didn't work so I am going to try the safe mode.

Us use this, http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html that should fix you up. Go to that link, then to the down load link on the left and look for "Spybot - Search & Destroy", install and run. I didn't point you right to it because you should read about the program, it is free.

Spybot - Search & Destroy is the BEST search engine/program for this type of "possible" problem, Trojan/Worms.

Make sure you run the Spybot-SD Resident at all times, it will save you from this problem again. Sometimes it will get on your nerves because it wants to know if you want "almost" everything written to the Reg or not when installing programs, BUT that is how it protects you.

Let use know what happens. LOL something tells me you are going to get allot of BAD hints from the program.

Well There is no Virus and stuff but I did fix the problem with random programs starting.

Now all is left that I can't use the internet I.E.  typing a web address in and going to it.  When I do it gives me this...

1. Does load thing then when done nothing shows up on the web tab.
2. either timed out or it couldn't load the page.

I tried both my Firefox and my AOL does the samething.  But lets say like the other day Maggot gave me a link and I thought it wouldn't work but it did.  Unless it is a web site I have normally visited it won't let me view it unless it a new address that is entirely different.  Any idea how to fix it?

I dont know why im posting this but if you have infected files on your computer in have a combofix program that might work. Usually i have had infected files that didnt even show up on virus scans but this found them anyways. If you are interested in this program just p.m. or repost something.
