You play to much BF1942 ;)

A 30-06 would hurt my old bones  :'(

Really... I could get a Garand anytime. When getting a true "modern" assault rifle who knows what will happen in the next year. Something tells me because of what has been going on in the news in the last year, we will be seeing a Country wide Assault rifle ban and I want my rifle before that happens... There will be laws to stop you from buying, but I can never see a law happening to take it away after you already have it.

Go for it Loaded, it looks awsome. Especially with a handle on the rail and a scope. They cost nearly $2000 though but meh it'll last for years.
Check this out, a strip of a Sig 556:

Well I went to a gun show today and this is what I came out with...

Ar in 5.56, Mil-Spec, flip sights, 16” Stainless Steel HBar “Helical Fluted" barrel, upgraded Flash Suppressor, Sling mounts, so on and so on.

I have 12ac, on one side of me nothing for 2 miles and the other side nothing for 1 mile, so no problem shooting here.

ya, i second that. Do you have to have some special permit to buy that kind of thing? Does it have single, burst, auto...?

More then a dollar and less then a million... The stock rifle from this company is around $900 and I have about $400 in options, but I did not pay anywhere near the retail, I did very well on the final cost.

No permit... No full or brust, it is just semi-auto, but less then $50 in parts can make it full auto, it already has the full auto carrier bolt group install (completely legal), just the shear and trigger full auto group is needed.

BUT then Yes a permit (well the right paper work) needs to be filled out, it is called a class III and takes about 60days to get. I would have no problem (with my personnel back ground) on getting a class III and it helps that my State is "very" class III friendly. No plans on making full-auto, for me, no need.

Here are a few somewhat better photos of the rifle...

Tell you the truth, I wouldn't even file the paper work.  It only takes about 5 minutes to change all the parts to put it on full auto.  A couple of push pins and slide the internal components in, and the push the pins back in and you are rocking and rolling.  That is just me.  Now if you have to file the paper work to get the parts, then yes, I would file the paper work.  Just me though.  Nice peice, though.

Buying the parts, no paper work.

Thanks, with that HBar stainless barrel it is heavy, but what the hell it looks cool and I could hit someone with it if I run out of ammo.
