Help / Deleting mass files ending in specific characters?

I have an external HDD formatted in FAT32 that has mass files that were duplicated. I would like to be able to delete the duplicate files which all seem to have been duplicated like this example:
This is for 70,000+ songs and other file types, that were duplicated 4x each, in thousands of folders. Not only do I want to delete every files that ends in "1" "2" "3" "4" I also want to delete the added characters before and after each of the remaining files.
I am not the best at Google keywords so I found it quite hard to find a straight, simple answer on how to do this.

After looking at Pats shout about how long he'd been in the clan, I looked at my profile and saw this:

Can't be right. I'm pretty sure I joined this clan when I was 14 or 15, which would be at least May, 2002-2003. Obviously it doesn't matter at all, I'm just curious as to why.
