Fuck SP3

So I finally installed SP3 on my computer.  Now XP won't start up and when I go into safe mode it won't let me do a system restore. Any ideas?

1) whats your gear ?

2) did you "buy" windows xp home/pro ?

XP Home, legit. It says "Unable to initialize system restore, please restart your computer and try again." Or something like that.  Well it still isn't letting me start system restore, I have even tried multiple levels of safe mode; Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking, and Safe Mode with Command Prompt.  I am planning on formatting the fucking thing anyway, I just need to get some files off of it first but of course it wont let me... PLEASE help.

Don't make a format. Just insert Windows CD and reinstall system files. It sometimes does the job.
