I did NYC to LA in 96' in a coach and it took forever. Alot of America looks quite desolate and boring from the road(no offence). I can only imagine how monotinous, awkward and expensive it would be in a taxi trying to make conforsation with a guy called Alam for 5 days. So I wouldn't do it. If I drove myself however I'd love to do it but I'd have my foot down all the way and take my own route through some cool places. I have no problem driving long distances. I'm fortunate enough to be able to drive to Milan for a pizza If I wanted to or Germany for a beer in like 15hrs If I could afford the petrol but its 3 times cheaper to fly and that means booking, packing, passport, blah blah nah can't be bothered

I already dont like driving to San Diego, which is only like 4.5-5 hours away. No chance i could make it cross country, plus new york doesn't seem like a fun place to go. Pretty sure Hawaii and California are the best states, at least climate wise.

We could be our own country, and we're bigger in population than some countries in the world. Think how nice it would be if we didn't have Washington DC policies screwing us all over.

Shouldn't point fingers Mano, Schwarzenegger DOUBLED the deficit left by Grey Davis.

hint: Schwarzenegger=republican

Besides Brown is known as being a fiscal conservative, you should like him. First time as governor he had a 5 billion dollar state surplus, refused to be taxi'd around in a limo, didn't spend tax payers money to build a cigar smoking room (Schwarzenegger, way to go!).

Politics are fun!

But at any rate...

I would do it, but I would do it alone. Probably will within the next couple of years.
