Idk if its official yet...  But, if Windows 8 will handle BF42, and if Mafia Server works on my new Windows 8, There is a good likelihood that I will be joining you guys.  Just wanted to let you all know that.

If you have trouble running it try right click, properties, compatibility, windows XP service pack 3; also run as admin. You should get bf3 too and join us there. It was like $30 on amazon like a month ago. If you never used amazon before then you are missing out, it is the place where you get the most bang for your buck and has all the cheapest stuff too. I am just suggesting this one cause I have it and it lasts, you can get others for $10 maybe $5 but they won't last or work as good. Just 5 more dollars for a mic that will last you at least 2 more years than a cheaper one, $5 isn't even one hour of your paycheck. It's just one beer at the bar you have to give up.

And ya Scooby is right you say you're poor but then bring up apple, apple is very over priced; I don't even think apple's headphones are $15.

I got BF42 for $6 when Amazon was at $10.  Im living on nickels and dimes.  + I think my Computer already has a mic in it.  Ill keep searching though.  Btw, I couldn't find Mafia's server on BF42.  Did you move to 1.61?

No we didn't if you can't see it then you are probably on wrong version meaning higher such as 1.61 or 1.612(origin)
