I just bought 127 mb and 512 mb ram i installed them, they made the map load faster, but whenever I play a game, I get lag like every 4-7 minutes.  Can anyone tell me why?

Loaded can answer that.  I always thought lag was because of internet.  Does it say connection problems, or is it just game lag?  I guess you could change some settings...

It happens in every game I play.  And I have cable. and what settings might you be talking about? lol just saw your comment bone, I got it all off a site beetle gave me, just came in today. :)  The site had a little tester for that, so they should all be the same.

Most the time when I start getting lag it's due to adware and spyware. I've gotten in the habit of running ad-aware and Spybot before I start to play and it's helped quite abit.

And try not to have any other programs running, like your music, messenger, and/or whatever else.  Yeah I know some of you keep all of your stuff on, but computers are different.  I still think its internet.

well, i got spysweeper for ratman's comment. and for yours beetle, I only run a no shake hack for the game, and sometimes ventrilo. and billy your right.

lol, i just toke darkmantis's advise :), to defrag my computer, and the thing was all fraged up lol.  I started it at 10:00, and its 4:00 now. and its only 39% of the way done lol.  Thx again DARK!

yeah dude, I'm defragging mine now... i started it at 1:12, it's 5:57 right now... 6% through... with an estimated 53 hours left.  It started out with 4 hours... then went to 20, then 49 for a while... now 53, lol... I'll see you all in a week our two...
