When I talk I am transmitting a TON of sound from my speakers...I thought that I could just turn them down and that would fix it. Well it didnt, so I plugged in my headphones so there was NO sound coming out of the speakers and I was just using a mic to talk. And still there was sound. How can I stop it from transmitting game noise over the channel? Or what do I do to stop that?

like i said yesterday, change your outputs, and then do a test. if it doesn't work, change it again, and so on.  Well that helped for me :)

How much are headsets and where should I get one from. Can anyone explain why even when I had my headphones plugged there was still game audio over the channel?

i would look online at different places, like circutcity, bestby, walmart, officedepot. places that would sell them sometimes you might be able to find one that has a rebate. i got my set for 10 dollars it was a 25 dollar but had a 15 dollar rebate. so just look around.
