Got some problems patching my BF 2

I downloaded BF 2, mounted it and got a cdkey that runs great.
I can play all servers online with it.

But..

When i try to patch it 1.22 (all) or the 1.21 it just says PATCHING FAILED and it wont even launch anny more.
I even got a bf cd (original) and it still doesnt patch...

Does someone has some suggestions for me??

um, maybe format, unless you want to search for the problem on you comp, which could take forever since you dont know what to look for.

Just reinstall both BF and get the full 1.22 patch. That should fix it... I think.

EDIT... There is a 1.3 patch out...
