i dl'ed 1.61 patch onto computer. then i attempted to dl patch switcher. i tried to open it, said unexpected end of archive. and another error said file was corrupt. can anyone help me or send me the patchswitcher plz?? thx

First, go to your Battlefield directory (the default is C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 1942) there should be a batch file and a directory named "Patchswitcher" in your Battlefield directory. Delete both the patchswitcher batch file and your patchswitcher directory.

Next, download this .rar archive (download and install winrar if you don't already have it). This archive contains the patchswitcher batch file and directory containing all the registry entries and .exe's necessary for the patchswitcher to work.

Place the both the patchswitcher batch file and patchswitcher directory into your Battelfield directory. From here just open the newly installed Patchswitcher. bat file and you should be able to switch your patch from 1.6 to 1.61 and vice versa.
