Abosolutely.  I run it just fine without any lag with a 1.8 GHz processer and a half gig of RAM.

Sure, but the system requirements state 512 MB or more, so you meet the bare minimum. It will probably take you a bit longer to load up maps and stuff.

Yes, more RAM allows you to alt-tab out of a full screen program more quickly.
