some of the graphics are damn good, and physics are insane. But they messed up a bit too, did anyone else notice how shitty the ground graphics where? Crappy flat ground with 2D blades of grass, looked like bf42 all over again.

Well wouldn't the nVidia 8800 card or the new ATI be able to do that?  Or is it just near impossible?

I don't mean they should have individually modeled thousands of blades of grass, i mean bf2 has brush type grass and it runs smooth. I mean when you look straight down, you see perfectly flat ground with 2 dimensional shitty grass that looks like green lines drawn on paper. The 3D foliage looks great, but when you see the "flat spots" it just looks like shit.

Just wanted to inform those who haven't heard it already:

PC gamers now have a reason to mark a big circle around September 25th on their calendars as the single player demo for Crysis will be lighting up rigs worldwide in just 30 days.

Consisting of the entire first level in Crysis’ epic single player campaign, “Contact,” gamers will get to finally experience first-hand the stunning visuals, revolutionary Nanosuit gameplay and open-ended level design that make Crysis one of the most anticipated shooters and PC games of all time. The demo is also poised to include a huge surprise from Crytek, but for now you’ll just have to wait and check out the latest Crysis Nanosuit trailer by following the link below

Now thats fucking awesome :)
