all parts are in

ok so all my parts to my compter are now in. is there anything i should know when putting this thing together or do i just pretty much hook everything up and then its all good. i know noob question but want to make sure.

Make sure you wash all the parts in good soapy water before putting it together otherwise you can get problems with the connectors.

Maybe? Most of the time BIOS is what makes things happen funny and setting them correctly is going to be all up to you, not easy to do on line (helping).

Make sure everything you connect goes in the right place, and hope your motherboard isnt backwards what the instructions say.

ya i am not really worried about the installation of the computer itself but stuff like loaded said bios and stuff like that. i also should put like a heat compound on the cpu before i put the heat sink on it right.

It should already be on the heat sink, unless you want to use AS5 http://www.arcticsilver.com/as5.htm

remember to remove the plastic cover on the CPU. My friend didn't do this, and his CPU was running at like 80 degrees C. Make sure ALL of the plastic wrap is OFF of the stuff before you put it in.

i recomend checking the secrets forum, i'm sure you could find some "help" regarding an OS.
