Patients unfortunately do slip through the cracks of the health care system. There are plenty of excuses that can be thrown at this situation from an administrative standpoint but when you get down to the particular situation, it's just poor patient care.

I guarantee you if they had a JCAHO certification (http://www.jointcommission.org/) they don't have it anymore.

I saw that shit too.  They said that it was right in front of the guards room, where they are stationed at.  I hope I never have to go there.
