When you say "my" you mean my parents. Who cares what your parents drive?

He's only 16 years old so can only hold a provisional license in CA. If he actually did have a provisonal by law he'd have to be acompanied by a fully licensed adult driving an automobile to the age of 18. Now he suddenly owns a 30k truck and a 30k car a few months after I asked him on vent If he could drive and he said no and was planning on buying a new gun instead of car. PLEEEZE! How stoopid do you think we are Headhunter?

No, with a provisional license in CA you are allowed to drive alone.

The only things he may not do are-
(A) Drive between the hours of 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.
(B) Transport passengers who are under 20 years of age.

He would only hold the provisional license for six months and then it becomes an unrestricted license. Trust me, coming from San Diego, 16 year old kids driving to school in new cars is an everyday thing.

BTW- Nice job spelling stupid.

The truck is worth $10,000 and The car is worth $5,000 ($15,000 is FAR from $60,000). I bought it from my dad for 8k, and the car is a gift since my mom got the van. I don't have a liscence, I still have my permit. I just bought the truck because my dad was selling it anyway.

Well then the driving laws in CA are "stoopid", to let a 16 year old who can't drive for shit loose on the roads un-supervised. The whole point of having driving licenses means drivers arn't a danger to others or themselves. I bet you get kids crashing all over the place in California.

Still not convinced.  I want your mom to call me and tell me that you paid for hte cars yourself with your high paying job and your huge trust fund....

If they are in fact your cars...You are a spoiled cock.  But spoiled kids get their asses kicked in the real world.  Ask Vickie about her son's way out of a fight "BOOO HOOO I DONT GOOOOO TO OU"!

yes, im such a bad parent. my sons are in college on track to be in judicial positions and NOT sitting around collecting govt assistance, more concerned with weapons, narcotics, and deeds done only in the dark. maybe I should reevaluate my parenting skills, huh? If a parent is able to provide for their children, then I say more power to you. that way the kid can focus on making good grades and wise choices for the future. but I could be wrong.
