Yeah, but she's not trying to get elected, she's been around a while and has no say on what governmental policy is anyway. Its interesting you brought up that comparison however because when it comes down to it, its not gonna matter who's president because in reality the president is just a glorified spokesperson/the face of America if you will. Its the Pentagon and other organisations that decide what the US does. All Presidents do now is take credit for successes or blame failures on their advisors but everything is laid out for them. The right for free thinking and action disappeared after Kennedy.

Well you are right we aren't at war with any country.  I think it is called at war with terrorism.  And here is what Princeton defines war as:

I am not by far a college scholar like the people that came up with these deffanitions, but I do believe what we are doing falls under atleast 2 of those.  It may just be me.  I know we lose more people in the states over stupid shit like, hand guns, and other dumb shit.  But no matter how many people don't want to say or think  we aren't at war, we are.  Correct me if I am wrong, but when they talk about Iraq what do they call it in the press, Congress, Senate, and the White House?  Do they not call it the War in Iraq or the War in Afghanistan? 

Just like the korean police action was a war? You can argue that the war of terror is bad, but look at a few pluses.

Saddam was a modern day hitler, he killed 1/6 as many civilians as hitler, he killed his own troops, he had to be stopped. Sure america has tested weapons on their on troops, which was bad to begin with, but it had to be done at some point to see the long term effects of radiation from the warheads.

If we hadn't invaded after 9-11, who knows it could have happened again? No one will ever know, but it could be worse just think that.

Governments are there to uphold the peace, and defend their citizens. I'm a republician so that might be why I guess.

The leaders in the government need to know what to do in time of war, obama is just a well dressed, good speaker, sure he may be the image of the country if he becomes president, but what we really need is a new Reagan. One that will intimidate our enemies before he elected president.

Obama is just another failure like Carter.

The war in afgh was over pretty much the day we entered, as was iraq, we steam rolled what was left of their military that hadn't went into hiding. Sometimes I wish we our leaders had the balls to do what germany did with rebels during ww2. If we lined up a village of middle east residents and shot them by firing squad, I'm sure they wouldn't be pussies anymore and attack us passively.

We may have rolled over their military units, but just as well have the National Guard, they have militias.  They may not have any of the same traits as ours, but it is some type of structure to them.  Also, refering to your last statement, if we went into a village of middle east residents and shot them by firing squad, wouldn't we be doing exactly the same thing they did on 9/11.  They executed how many Americans in the Twin Towers, Pentagon, and when the other plane went down in PA?  Really, that is just as much terriorism as what they did to us.

Terrorism is defined as: The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons.

So, like I said, if we went into a village and shot people for no reason, that would be terrorism.  I do agree that the way they fight is like a bunch of pussies.  But look at our capabilities and then look at theirs.  I am in no way defending what they do or believe in, but they are trying to do everything they can to win, which is not working.
