I was able to run the 8th mile in the low 8 second mark (never did a 1/4 track, none were around where I lived), not overly fast but I was happy with that time on a street car...

Low 8's, are you shitting me?! Dang loaded, that's beyond overly fast...anythin g under 13.9 you gotta wear a helmet, and i think with a time like yours you would prolly need to have a 'chute with it too!

The insurance on my Fiesta was £1300 when I was 17. You must of been paying at least £2200+ for a 1.9 GTI unless your folks owned and insured it and added you to their policy.

I was going for a tuner style back in the day, now i'm just sporting it out for mountain use.  Changing the suspension, nice tires for the snow, and getting a roof rack for next winter season.

FUUUUUUU-   i hate HID headlights, every time a new prius or BMW/Benz/any car with HID lights is driving behind me, it makes me want to gouge my eyes out. I've pulled off to the side of the road to let them pass on multiple times when being tailgated by a HID equipped car. That being said, my car has them and they are a blast when driving down a dark as hell street, lights up everything.

I know right, when I first put them on..........I was like :O  it lights up everything!  I even put HID's on my fog lights haha, it's pure ownage when ppl passing me from the opposite lane flash their high beams on me, then I flash mine back, they are prob like o.O?
