I want to stay with a sedan. Of course I won't be getting a new car for at least 3 more years, or whenever this car stops functioning. The new Maxima would also be pretty cool but I heard somewhere that the Altima's are a better deal than the Maximas.
to be honest they're all in a price bracket that's much too high for me, most of the review sites i checked said 22K+ depending on which package you choose. If dropping over 20 grand on a car isn't an issue though, I would be compelled to buy a really bad ass used car for that price, but maybe that's because I target used cars in the first place. A few that come to mind would be a used mini-cooper S (supercharged 6 speed fast as shit car with 30+mpg), 05 or so Subaru WRX sedan or wagon (really versatile, decent mpg and very fast), a used lexus (motors made by toyota, last for fucking ever and a panty dropper at that), any used Audi....
I dunno there's a lot of choices out there if you go the used car route. Those were just a few in mind that would cost you well under 20K, but i'm kind of a cheapskate so maybe used cars aren't your cup of tea. But just to be clear if you buy ANY new car, the value will drop tremendously in 8-12 months...so why not just buy something that's a few years old? Just my two cents....
